Membership
Membership of OpenPeppol is open to the following organisation types:
- Policy Enablers
- Government/private sector entities acting as Peppol Authorities.
- Service Providers Access Point Providers;
- Service Metadata Publishers;
- Pre-Award Service Providers. • End Users (public and private sector)
- buyers;
- suppliers;
- other end users of Peppol-based services.
OpenPeppol aims for a balanced stakeholder representation with a shared interest in Peppol and encourages other member organisations, academic institutions, associations, trade bodies and related IT solution providers to join the OpenPeppol community as Observers.
As Associate Members, Observers may attend OpenPeppol meetings but are not eligible to vote or take up elected positions.To apply for membership, follow the link below under ‘Join Peppol’ for further information and to download a Registration Form.
Benefits
By becoming a member of OpenPeppol, public and private sector organisations have the unique opportunity to join forces and drive the adoption of common standards, process automation and connectivity around the world.
In particular, OpenPeppol members are able to:
- influence the adoption of common standards around the world;
- ensure the relevance and usability of Peppol specifications and services;
- influence the expansion of Peppol specifications into new areas of use;
- access a wide group of large and small public and private sector organisations with expertise in multiple industries in many countries.
Members of OpenPeppol communities are able to:
- attend and vote at the General Assembly;
- apply for appointment to elected positions in the Association;
- attend two Face-to-Face Community meetings each year;
- join regular web meetings;
- participate in reviews of development activities; vjoin work groups established within a community.

Obligations
Members of OpenPeppol are expected to participate, on a volunteer basis, in the activities of relevant Domain and Stakeholder Communities to ensure a collaborative approach to the work of the Association.
As a condition of membership, OpenPeppol members shall:
- accept the Statutes of the Association;
- join their relevant Stakeholder Community;
- in the case of Service Providers and Peppol Authorities, join at least one Domain Community;
- pay subscription fees in accordance with the table below.

Registration form
All candidate members must submit a completed and signed Registration Form.

Please sign and email a PDF version of your completed Registration Form to info@peppol.org and the OpenPeppol Operating Office will review the application and notify you of the next steps.
Participation
Once their membership status has been confirmed, members are automatically assigned to their relevant Stakeholder Community.
On Registration, Peppol Authority and Service Provider members must nominate which of the three Domain Communities they wish to participate in:

eDeC – eDelivery Community

PrAC – Pre-Award Community
-
PoAC – Post-Award Community
Please note that participation in:
-
eDeC is mandatory for all Peppol Authorities and Service Providers;
-
PrAC is mandatory for all Pre-Award Service Providers;
-
PoAC is mandatory for all Post-Award service Providers.
In addition to the mandatory participation requirements, Peppol Authorities and Service Providers may opt to participate in any other Domain Community.

Members must sign the relevant OpenPeppol legal agreement.

The sign-up fee is payable on first registration together with the annual fee, which is pro-rata for the calendar year of joining. The annual fee is paid thereafter in advance for each calendar year. Membership fees support the purposes and activities of the Association and are determined by the OpenPeppol Managing Committee.
